Historically known as an industrial, working-class neighborhood, for real estate investors in the know, Cinco de Diciembre (often called simply "Cinco") is perhaps Puerto Vallarta's most-watched up-and-coming area on today's market. Located within a flat stroll to the famed Puerto Vallarta Malecon and the lovely Playa Los Camarones beach, this neighborhood has been a favorite for foreigners looking for affordable homes in a friendly, walkable area which still holds the original feel of a uniquely Mexican community.
