Living in Puerto Vallarta, you can’t help but have a deep appreciation for the incredible caring, bravery and work ethic that our dedicated First Responders exhibit on a daily basis. And now, a new system is being put in place to make their work even more efficient, but it requires the support of the community.

The 911 Emergency Response System is being put in place across Mexico and is ready to be launched in Puerto Vallarta, but the city needs assistance in raising funds to buy all the radios required to fully implement it.  Puerto Vallarta Emergency Services requires 150 radios to entirely launch the 911 Emergency Response System in Puerto Vallarta. Currently, Puerto Vallarta First Responders do a fantastic job with an average response time of 10 minutes.  However, once fully implemented, this system will allow our First Responders to reduce the that average response time by 4 minutes, precious time that could be the difference between life and death.  For expats living in Puerto Vallarta, the 911 system will be an easy number to remember, in a time when stress or shock may kick in, helping to ensure your safety and the safety of those around you even under pressure.

In our continued effort to support our community, Tropicasa Realty has already pledged radios and our agents are joining in the effort to raise more funds. We would like to encourage all our friends, family, community members and clients to also get involved in supporting this important community service, by visiting the GoFundMe page and placing your donation today, to be a part of this important community initiative.
